Yes, we are often booked up a week in advance and our team pre-plans their routes.
Yes we only use hyper allergenic shampoo of premium quality.
Yes it is very uncomfortable for your dog and can lead to health problems. Regular trimming of pets nails is very important for their overall health.
Yes we do. It forms part of our standard groom. Please note that if your pets nails are very long we will only be able to take off a short amount. Cutting them to short, even when long, will cause them to bleed due to the nail vein that has grown significantly. Similarly, if your pets nails are short we will not cut them shorter.
GROOMING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment
- We accept cash on the day or EFT 24 hours before the groom. Funds need to reflect in our bank account before we can commence the grooming session.
- Failure to make timeous payment will result in late payment fees and interest and may result in an impaired credit record.
- By using our services you agree to being personally liable for all collection fees, legal fees, late payment fees and interest.
Pricing
- Prices given over the phone and are based on Paws Gone Wilds employees judgement and based on the information provided by the client.
- Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to change pricing in accordance if the condition or size of the pet requires more work than anticipated.
- Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to charge an additional fee for severely matted dogs and cats over and above the prescribed grooming cost.
- Prices are subject to change.
Hours of Operation
- Our hours of operations are Monday to Saturday 8:00 am – 17:00 pm and selective Sundays and Public Holidays.
- If the client delays the team from grooming a pet then Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to charge an additional R100 for every 15 minute delay. We reserve the right to turn away clients that are over 15 minutes late for their appointment, full grooming fee will be due.
Booking Reservations
- Please make sure you make your bookings at least 1 week in advance, we try accommodate clients on short notice but it’s not always possible especially in summer months.
- Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice must be given before cancelling an appointment, failing which we reserve the right to charge for the appointment.
Matted Coats
- The well-being of your pet is of utmost importance to Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd, for this reason, severely matted dogs and cats, will need to be shaved to prevent pain and suffering.
- By using Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd services, the client grants permission for matted hair to be shaved and stripped. The additional cost of this will be for the customers account.
- Severely matted pets will incur additional fees at the discretion of management.
- It should be noted that there is a greater risk of cuts and injury for severely matted pets and Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd will not be held liable for the injury of any pet.
Illness / Injury
Pet’s medical history must be disclosed before any treatment commences. We retain the right to refuse to groom any pet that may have any of the following:
- Stitches from any surgery
- Any open or weeping wounds
- Any form of ill health
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Breathing difficulties
- Unusual lethargy
- Any other signs of injury not yet seen to by a vet
By using Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd services, the client agrees:
- The pet is fit and healthy. (Grooming of sick or elderly pets is entirely at the owner’s risk). Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems that we cannot be held liable for.
- The pet is vaccinated and up to date. An unvaccinated pet puts itself and others at risk.
- It must be clearly understood and agreed that whilst every attention is given to your pet(s) they are accepted at the owner’s risk. Our first concern is for the welfare of your pet so in the event of injury or illness a vet may be called in and all costs in connection with and in the carrying out of this instruction shall be at the owner’s expense.
- The client acknowledges that no complaints will be addressed more than 24 hours after being groomed.
Ticks and Fleas
- Pets with ticks and fleas will be treated with Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd choice of remedy at the current cost indicated on our price list. Owners will be advised and are encouraged to address problems areas in their pet’s home and immediate environment.
Aggressive / Difficult Dogs
- Dogs that are aggressive, difficult or have a tendency to bite will generally be muzzled for their safety and ours. While we have a great deal of experience and success in the grooming of difficult dogs, we reserve the right to halt the grooming process should a dog become aggressive to the point of being a danger to staff or to his or herself. Full or part of the grooming charge may apply.
- Please note Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd are not able to sedate your pet. However over counter medication can be given to the pets by their owners prior to the grooming session and this is entirely at the owners risk.
Public Liability
- While every care is taken to ensure the safety of all pets, owners will not hold Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd, its staff nor owners liable for any loss or injury to their pets and/or property.
Marketing
- By using Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd, the client agrees to their pet being photographed and being used on Paws Gone Wild Mobile Pet Grooming (Pty) Ltd website/social media and for any marketing purposes.
